
The Council Chairman of Numan, Hon. Innocent Koto, who also serves as the ALGON treasurer of local government chairmen in Adamawa State, has praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for delivering Democracy Dividends to the people of Adamawa.
He congratulated the Governor and his Deputy, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, in celebration of June 12, Democracy Day in the country.
Hon. Koto also extended his congratulations to Hon. Kwamoti La’ori, the House of Representatives Member for Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde Federal Constituency, as well as to Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo, the Member representing Numan Constituency at the State Assembly, along with other key stakeholders in the Numan local government area.
Additionally, he congratulated the ALGON Chairman, Engineer Suleiman Gangkuba, and all local government chairmen in Adamawa State.
In a statement signed by Hon. Koto and made available to newsmen in Yola, he emphasised that the Governor’s slogan, “Nothing is left untouched and nothing is left behind,” has positively impacted the lives of the people and their communities.
According to Hon. Koto, the development strides made by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, including infrastructure development, empowerment, and promotion of peace, have greatly contributed to the people’s sense of the benefits of democracy.
He remarked that, as grassroots leaders, they have learned valuable lessons in governance through the leadership style of Governor Fintiri.
The Numan Council Chairman assured the Governor that the Council chairmen would continue to work diligently to strengthen democracy and ensure the PDP remains a strong party in Adamawa State.
He concluded by urging the people of the Numan local government area to place their trust in his administration and support policies and initiatives aligned with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s Agenda for Development.
