NOA Stepping Up Campaign for E-birth and NIN Registrations.

The Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Lanre Onilu, emphatically urges all parents to ensure that their children undergo e-birth and NIN registration to protect their fundamental rights.

During a resolute press conference on e-birth registration and social mobilization drive in Yola, the NOA DG, represented by Mr. David Okoji, emphasized the critical importance of collaborating with stakeholders, including the National Population Commission, UNICEF, and the National Identity Management Commission.

The goal is to ensure that every child in Nigeria has unwavering access to essential services.

The partnership uncompromisingly targets the registration of children from zero to five years, providing them with national identification numbers free of charge to safeguard their rights and privileges.

Mr. Innocent Mishikir, the unyielding representative of the Federal Commissioner National Population Commission, declared that the commission aims to register nine million children nationwide.

So far, over a hundred thousand children have been registered. He unequivocally urged parents to enrol their children before the registration process ends in November.

The State Director of the National Orientation Agency, Jonah Aggi, fervently called on parents and caregivers to wholeheartedly cooperate to ensure the resounding success of the e-birth registration and enrollment of children for the National Identity Number.

The Sarkin Fada of the Adamawa Emirate Council, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed, adamantly pledged the unwavering support of the emirate council to ensure the resounding success of the exercise.

Furthermore, there were unwavering goodwill messages from the Women’s Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, FOMWAN, and the National Youth Council in Adamawa State, all resolutely pledging their support for the resounding success of the initiative.
