Rev. David Ayuba Azzaman: A Legacy of Faith and Advocacy

Hearts are heavy and tears are flowing as friends, family, and faithful followers remember the life and legacy of Reverend David Ayuba Azzaman, who tragically passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in a road accident along the Idon-Kaduna route.

To many, he wasn’t just “Pastor Azzaman” – he was a friend, a brother, a father figure, and a fearless voice for the voiceless. Known for his deep compassion, warm smile, and booming voice filled with conviction, Rev. Azzaman lived a life of purpose, driven by an unshakable faith and love for people.

Rev. Azzaman led The King Worship Chapel and Ministry in Kaduna, where his sermons uplifted thousands and his prayers calmed storms in many lives. But he wasn’t just a pastor behind the pulpit—he was on the ground, walking with his people, visiting those in need, standing with the oppressed, and speaking up when silence would have been easier.

He was never afraid to speak truth to power. Whether it was challenging religious injustices in Northern Nigeria or raising his voice for kidnapped Christians, Rev. Azzaman did so with boldness and love. He believed in unity, peace, and fairness—values he lived out every day.

Across Nigeria and beyond, tributes have been pouring in. Friends on social media described him as “a lion in the faith,” “a comforting soul,” and “a man who carried the burdens of others as if they were his own.” One friend wrote, “You didn’t just preach the gospel—you lived it with every breath.”

“Though Rev. Azzaman is no longer physically with us, his legacy is impossible to forget. His voice may be silent, but his impact will continue to echo in the hearts of those he loved, taught, and fought for. He leaves behind a church family that will carry the torch forward and a nation that will never forget the pastor who spoke for the people”

Funeral details will be shared by the family and church soon. For now, the Christian community gathers not just in mourning, but in gratitude—for a life so beautifully and boldly lived.
