RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE: Rev. Tamborokai has etched his legacy in gold.

Recently, the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) Kainji District, Woblai Division of Yola Diocese, organized a solemn send-off service to honour Rev. Tonborokai Robert Gajere, their former District Pastor. Rev. Tonborokai’s unwavering commitment, wisdom, and compassion during his 2 years and 9 months of service left an indelible mark on his congregations and the community.

During the service, distinguished guests, colleagues, and the Gajere family shared heartfelt tributes.

The former Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Chief Crowther Seth, commended Rev. Tonborokai’s selfless dedication to serving others and his unwavering faith.

Rev. Tonborokai’s leadership extended beyond the pulpit, as he had a remarkable ability to unite people and inspire personal growth. Attendees expressed deep appreciation for his mentorship and friendship.

Representing the Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Rev. Rikaya Lusa, Secretary of the LCCN Archbishop, acknowledged Rev. Tonborokai’s tireless efforts and described him as a “hardworking man” whose dedication exemplified humility and grace.

Several church leaders paid tribute to Rev. Tonborokai’s compassionate nature and unwavering determination. Their stories celebrated the enduring impact he left on their lives and the community.

During the send-off service, Mrs. Happy Tonborokai expressed profound gratitude, thanking the LCCN Kainji District for their unprecedented support, which sustained the Tonborokai family throughout their journey.

Rev. Tonborokai addressed the congregation, acknowledging the challenges he faced upon arriving in the LCCN District and expressing gratitude for the struggles, triumphs, and God’s constant companionship.

The send-off service included moments of reflection, presentation of gifts, and heartfelt songs by church subgroups. It was attended by various political officeholders from Adamawa State.

As Rev. Tonborokai Robert Gajere embarks on a new chapter in his life and ministry as the new Director of Conal and Development Services of the LCCN Headquarters in Adamawa State, the community he is leaving behind remains united, celebrating his legacy and the enduring impact of his service.
