Madaki made the declaration during a press conference attended by members of his campaign organisation, political associates, supporters, and loyalists from across the state.
Speaking at the event, the governorship aspirant said his decision to join the race followed extensive consultations with party stakeholders, community leaders, professionals, women groups, youths, and political associates across the 21 local government areas of the state.
According to him, the decision was motivated by the urgent need to provide purposeful, inclusive, and people-oriented leadership capable of addressing the numerous challenges confronting the people of Adamawa.
He observed that residents of the state were demanding improved security, better road infrastructure, quality healthcare services, educational advancement, and economic opportunities that would improve the living conditions of ordinary citizens.

“The time has come for leadership that will unite the people and deliver genuine development across Adamawa State,” he stated.
The aspirant explained that his political vision for the state was anchored on unity, prosperity, security, and inclusive governance. He pledged that if elected, his administration would prioritise quality education, improved healthcare delivery, peacebuilding initiatives, youth and women empowerment, and equal inclusion of all zones, ethnic groups, religions, and political interests in governance.
Madaki also called on members of his political party to remain united and committed ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that discipline, cooperation, and collective responsibility would be vital in achieving electoral victory.
Addressing journalists at the briefing, he commended members of the media for their contributions to democratic growth and accountability in governance. He urged journalists to remain professional, objective, and committed to truth throughout the electioneering period.
He further appealed to youths and women across the state to actively participate in the political process, assuring them that his administration would create opportunities for empowerment, leadership development, and broader participation in governance.
Madaki equally acknowledged the role of traditional rulers and elders in maintaining peace, unity, and stability in Adamawa State, describing them as critical partners in the development and progress of the state.
He assured the people that his aspiration was founded on integrity, compassion, competence, and a genuine commitment to transforming Adamawa for the benefit of present and future generations.
