Koto Extends Congratulations to Governor Fintiri on Six Years in Office.

The Executive Chairman of Numan Local Council, Hon. Innocent Koto, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the occasion of his sixth anniversary in office.
He also extended his congratulations to Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, who is celebrating her two-year tenure.
Hon. Koto described Governor Fintiri as a transformative leader who has driven significant development across various sectors in Adamawa State. He made these remarks in a statement released to the press in Yola during the celebration of the Governor’s second anniversary in his second term and six years in total.
According to him, Thursday, May 29, marks a historic day for Adamawa State under Governor Fintiri’s administration.
Hon. Koto highlighted several achievements of the Governor, including advancements in infrastructure development, urban renewal projects, road construction, the establishment of cottage hospitals and model schools, youth empowerment initiatives, and the promotion of agriculture.
He also mentioned the implementation of free education, which includes the payment of WAEC and NECO fees for children from less privileged backgrounds. Moreover, the payment of the new national minimum wage for both state and local government workers is another significant achievement, along with ongoing employment opportunities facilitated by the Civil Service Commission.
Hon. Koto commended Governor Fintiri for implementing financial autonomy for local government areas even before it was rolled out at the national level, ensuring that citizens feel the impact of governance at the grassroots level.
Additionally, he acknowledged the Governor’s efforts in enhancing peace and security for the people of Adamawa State.
As the Treasurer of ALGON in Adamawa State and as a Council Chairperson, Hon. Koto expressed his commitment to following in Governor Fintiri’s footsteps, encouraging fellow council chairmen to similarly serve the masses at the local level.
The Numan Council Chairman also expressed gratitude to the Governor for consistently bringing joy to the people of Adamawa State. He urged the citizens to remain supportive of the Governor in the pursuit of ongoing development.
