In a renewed demonstration of solidarity ahead of the 2027 general elections, the concerned Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Numan Federation convened a strategic meeting with gubernatorial aspirant Abdulrahman Bashir Haske.
This engagement was conducted in Yola and included delegations from various sectors of the Numan Federation. The meeting, led by the Chairman, Comrade Reuben Lokodi, was aimed at facilitating political consultations and aligning the interests of the youth with viable leadership options for the state.
Chairman Lokodi emphasised the committee’s commitment to endorsing a candidate who demonstrates competence, vision, and a proven track record in youth empowerment—qualities which he believes are exemplified by Haske.

The APC Youths Coalition characterised the meeting as both “timely and fruitful,” acknowledging it as the foundation for a more robust collaborative relationship with the gubernatorial aspirant.
Lokodi reaffirmed the coalition’s dedication to mobilising grassroots support throughout the federation, stating that the youth are resolved to play a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape of Adamawa State.
In his address to the delegation, Haske expressed gratitude for the youth’s endorsement of his candidacy and reiterated his commitment to effecting transformational change in Adamawa through inclusive governance.
He enumerated key components of his developmental strategy, which include job creation, security reform, agricultural expansion, and the modernisation of critical infrastructure. Haske underscored the central role that young people would occupy within his administration if elected.
The meeting also featured an open interactive session in which youth representatives communicated pressing concerns affecting their communities within the Numan Federation.
The session concluded with a call for peaceful political engagement and unity among party members as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify, affecting their communities within the Numan Federation.
