SIXTH ANNIVERSARY: LCCN CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR FINTIRI AND ENCOURAGES HIM TO CONTINUE HIS SELFLESS SERVICE

 

The Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Most Rev. Musa Panti Filibus, PhD, has congratulated Adamawa State Governor Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the occasion of his sixth anniversary in office. He described Fintiri’s leadership as characterized by dedication, principles, and a firm commitment to justice and peace.

In a press statement issued through Rev. Seth Mbusa Atiko, Communications Officer of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Archbishop Filibus highlighted the remarkable achievements of Fintiri’s administration over the past six years.

The Archbishop commended the Governor for upholding the ideals of democratic governance, emphasizing fairness, inclusion, and respect for all communities across the state. He specifically praised the Governor for his bold decision to create new Emirates, Chiefdoms, and Districts, which addressed the needs of the affected communities.

On the Governor’s initiatives to transform the state through significant investments in infrastructure, education, the economy, and social development, Archbishop Musa Panti Filibus characterized these efforts as timely and essential for the state’s progress.

Despite the numerous challenges faced during his tenure, the Archbishop noted that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has demonstrated strength, clear direction, and a deep concern for the well-being of all citizens, especially the Lutheran Church. The Church is genuinely appreciative of the good relationship established over time.

On behalf of the Church, the Archbishop prayed for divine guidance, protection, and strength for the Governor as he continued to fulfil his eight-year tenure successfully.
