
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has affirmed the government’s commitment to collaborating with federal institutions within the state for the betterment of students, who are primarily constituents of the state.
This affirmation was conveyed during a meeting with the administration of the Federal College of Education Yola, who paid a courtesy visit.
The Governor, while assuring the continual backing of the government for the institution based on the historical partnership with the state government, underscored the substantial representation of state citizens among the college’s student body and the government’s vested interest in the institution’s advancement for the benefit of the populace.

Furthermore, the Governor extended congratulations to the college for being designated to host the National Colleges of Education Games and to celebrate its golden anniversary.
Committing to submitting the design for the construction of modern shops and perimeter fencing to the appropriate agency for review and guidance, the Governor confirmed this decision.
Prior to this, Deputy Provost Haj Aisha Dahiru, on behalf of the Provost, conveyed appreciation to the Governor for the extensive cooperation the college receives from the state government, emphasizing the significance of their collaborative efforts.
She also apprised the Governor of the college’s plan to host NASEGA and commemorate its golden jubilee later in the year. Additionally, Haj Aisha Dahiru divulged the administration’s intent to refurbish the corner shops to complement the government’s initiatives aimed at enhancing the state’s aesthetics, in conjunction with the ongoing construction of a flyover adjacent to the college gate.
