Aspirant for House of Assembly, Numan Constituency Hon. Innocent Koto has declared Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori as a grassroots Politician that is fit to be given mandate and represent the Southern Senatorial District at the Senate.
Hon. Koto who doubled as the Current Chairman, Numan local government area made this known during the official declaration of Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori for Senate that brought together people from Southern Zone at Yobi Conference Hall Yola on Thursday.
Hon. Innocent Koto noted that Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori had been a grassroots Politician and uplifted the people to various capacities of service.
According to him, within his two term of service at the House of Representative, Hon. Kwamoti had been a sponsor of bills, moving and raising motions, chairs different house committees at various assignments, hence the need to send him to the Senate base on his experience.
The Numan Constituency aspirant at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, also said the Right Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori had secured numerous projects within the nooks and crannies of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde local government areas, the constituency he is currently representing at the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
Among the projects, Koto mentioned are, building of Schools, water supply, Hospitals for provision of health care facilities, training of youths into self relying jobs among others, a situation he noted that if given the mandate at the Senate, Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori will continue in that trajectory.
The Council Chairman of Numan, also declared the support of the People of Numan to Barrister Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori to clinch the ticket of the All Progressive Congress for Senate, calls on remaining eight local government areas in the Southern Zone to do same for progress and development.
At the end of the declaration programme, the group for “La’ori for Senator Southern Senatorial Zone” pledged to contribute money and purchase nomination and interest form to Rt. Hon. Barrister Kwamoti Bitrus La’ori for his aspiration in the zone.
The ground says, if the Federal lawmaker refuse to answer their calls, they will sue him to court and compel him to contest for senator in the Southern Zone based on his track records and good representation.
