Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas, PhD, has again extended humanitarian support to his constituents with the distribution of foodstuffs to mark the holy month of Ramadan.
Namda who is a Governing Board Member Representing North East in NDDC said the gesture is part of his long-standing commitment to supporting vulnerable families, particularly during major religious seasons.
He noted that for over a decade, he has consistently provided similar assistance during Ramadan and other significant religious festivals.
According to him, Ramadan is a period of sacrifice, reflection and charity, stressing that leaders must demonstrate compassion and solidarity with the people, especially in times of economic challenges.
The distribution exercise benefited hundreds of households with essential food items shared to help ease the burden of fasting families.
Community leaders, women and youth groups who witnessed the exercise commended the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful.
