Chief Vunobolki, accompanied by his wife, was ushered into Adamawa amid chants, solidarity songs, and a convoy procession that stretched from the airport through the bustling Bank Road to the Vunobolki Campaign Office, where thousands of supporters had gathered in anticipation.
The event, which turned into a public demonstration of political strength and grassroots acceptability, witnessed an outpouring of enthusiasm from party loyalists, youth and women groups and community stakeholders who described Vunobolki’s aspiration as a credible movement for the future of Adamawa State.

At the campaign office, several speakers took turns to commend the supporters for their massive turnout and unwavering commitment, assuring the aspirant of full backing ahead of the PDP governorship primaries and the 2027 general elections. They unanimously expressed confidence in Chief Vunobolki’s capacity to emerge victorious and provide purposeful leadership for the state.
Addressing the cheering crowd alongside his wife, Chief Maurice Vunobolki opened his remarks with prayers, blessings and words of appreciation, thanking the people for what he described as an overwhelming show of love, support, and sacrifice.
He particularly praised supporters who stood under the scorching sun to welcome him, noting that their presence signified a deep belief in the vision of a new Adamawa.
In a symbolic moment, the PDP governorship hopeful publicly presented his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to supporters, describing the development as a clear indication of his seriousness, preparedness, and determination to contest for the governorship seat under the platform of the PDP. He called on party faithfuls across the state to remain steadfast and mobilized ahead of the party primaries, emphasizing that the journey toward rebuilding Adamawa requires unity, courage, and collective resolve.
Chief Vunobolki further stated that his longstanding humanitarian, political, and developmental footprints across all the 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa State distinguish him from other contenders in the race.
“I have touched lives and built relationships across every part of Adamawa. Our aspiration is not built on empty promises but on years of visible commitment to the people,” he declared.
He therefore urged the people to critically evaluate all aspirants based on their contributions to society, accessibility, and capacity to deliver meaningful governance.
Also speaking at the event, the wife of the governorship aspirant addressed women supporters, commending their loyalty and steadfastness to the movement. In a gesture aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization, she announced a donation of ₦1 million to the women’s group.
Chief Vunobolki also extended financial support of ₦4 million to youths and support groups, describing young people as strategic partners in the struggle to build a progressive and prosperous Adamawa State.
In his closing remarks, Chief Vunobolki once again thanked the mammoth crowd for the reception and urged all supporters, stakeholders, and party members to remain committed to the shared mission of securing victory and ultimately delivering a greater Adamawa for all.
