Joel Madaki Submits APC Governorship Nomination Forms With Support From Bwatiye


A strong delegation of Bwatiye leaders and stakeholders on yesterday accompanied Chief Joel Madaki to the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, where he formally submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest the 2027 Adamawa State governorship election.

Chief Madaki, popularly known as Baba described the submission of the forms as the beginning of a collective journey toward the redemption and transformation of Adamawa State.

“Today marks an important step in our shared mission of redemption for Adamawa State. This movement is not about one man, but about restoring hope, unity, justice, and opportunities for all our people,” he said shortly after submitting the forms.

The governorship aspirant expressed appreciation to Bwatiye leaders, stakeholders, and supporters who accompanied him to the APC national headquarters, describing their presence as a demonstration of unity, trust, and commitment to a better future for the state.

“I am deeply humbled by the massive show of solidarity and support. With the grace of God and the support of our people, we shall work together to redeem Adamawa through inclusive leadership, security, economic growth, and people-oriented governance,” Madaki added.

The delegation was led by Chief Pwadeh Rogers Teneke, Vice President (Diaspora) of the Bwatiye Development Association Worldwide (BDA), alongside members of the Bwatiye Community Development Association (BCDA) Abuja Chapter, who described the development as a significant moment for the Bwatiye nation and supporters of transformational leadership in Adamawa State.

Teneke said the large turnout of Bwatiye leaders and supporters reflected the confidence many people have in Madaki’s leadership capacity and vision for the state.

“Today’s submission is beyond a political process; it represents the hopes and aspirations of people who desire purposeful leadership, unity, and development in Adamawa State,” he stated.

He added that Chief Madaki possesses the experience, commitment, and leadership qualities needed to reposition Adamawa State and improve the welfare of its people.

Other members of the delegation also reaffirmed their support for the APC governorship aspirant and called on party members, stakeholders, and residents of the state to rally behind what they described as a shared vision for progress, unity, and redemption ahead of the 2027 elections
