FUEL HIKE: Bashir Haske Subsidizes PMS to Adamawa People at 998 per liter.

Abdulrahman Bashir Haske has subsidized Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS) for over ten thousand Nigerians at the rate of 998 nairas per litre to help ease the economic hardship.

The symbolic flag-off took place at A.M. Korofi filling stations, where Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, represented by comrade Umar Sanusi Madaki, explained that the program is aimed at assisting farmers, commercial motorists, and tricycle riders to cope with the current economic challenges caused by the price increment announced by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

Haske is deeply concerned about how the fuel price increase is affecting underprivileged Nigerians, which led to the decision to subsidize the price to below one thousand naira.

He emphasized that as a Nigerian familiar with the economic trends, farmers need subsidized fuel to ease their transportation of farm products.

Haske also highlighted the difficulties Nigerians are facing due to the subsidy removal and continuous fuel price hikes by the NNPCL and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association.

” I am here to unveil this project, championed by the Hon. Abdulrahman Umar Haske who is subsiding fuel at the rate of 998 nairas per litre to enable farms and the underprivileged Nigerians”

The project aims to benefit ten thousand individuals, and plans are being made for food programs and other life support projects.

Beneficiaries such as Adamu Abdulmumuni, a tricycle rider, and Abdul’afeez Girei, a motorist, expressed gratitude for the benevolence of Abdulrahman Bashir Haske and encouraged other Nigerians to follow suit to alleviate the impact of the hardship.

They shared their challenges in securing fuel at NNPCL filling stations due to long queues and high prices and expressed relief at finding subsidized fuel at 998 nairas per litre.

” I never expected to see a petroleum product selling as low as 998 in this part of the country. I have been at the NNPCL filling station since yesterday but could not get the product. Fortunately, I got privileged Information that there will be subsidized fuel here, and immediately took advantage- Adamu Abdulmumuni’

As fuel prices continue to escalate, reaching above one thousand naira per litre in NNPCL, Nigerians remain steadfastly hopeful that it does not escalate to two thousand naira per litre.
